Key responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall application and system architecture
- Design scalable microservices-based solutions using .NET Core
- Architect and implement RESTful APIs and distributed systems
- Lead cloud-native development using Azure PaaS services
- Ensure adherence to SOLID principles, design patterns, and coding standards
- Guide teams on containerization using Docker and orchestration strategies
- Oversee and implement CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / Jenkins)
- Optimize database design and performance using SQL Server & Dapper/ORM
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and DevOps teams
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and best practices
Required skills
- 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture
- Strong hands-on expertise in .NET Core, Microservices, and REST APIs
- Extensive experience with Azure PaaS and cloud-native architectures
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server and ORM frameworks (Dapper preferred)
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps / Jenkins)
- Deep understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and architectural best practices
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills
Good to have
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and integration
- Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
